Short Stock
Our short stock includes any material that are 4’ in length or shorter. We have a selection of 1x4 and 1x6 S4S for our domestic hardwoods and 1x3 and 1x5 in our exotics. We also have a number of pieces for those looking for materials for turning.
S4S means surfaced on all four sides. These boards are great for virtually any project including furniture builds, cabinetry, and panel glue-ups.
S2S means that the boards have been surfaced on two sides, most often on the faces. These boards are typically not milled to any specific dimension but simply planed until both sides are smooth. These boards are still great options for projects, but will require a bit more work to square the edges of the boards.
