Poplar has a yellowish coloring, often with shades of green, the color can vary quite a bit with what is known as “rainbow” as minerals have stained the wood in a gorgeous pattern. Poplar is a softer hardwood and is not as durable as a lot of other hardwoods. However, it is a staple in cabinet and shelving builds due to its workability.

This product has an FAS (first and seconds) grade which means that it is almost completely free of imperfections, such as knots, voids, cracks, checks and the like.

This product is sold by the board foot.
